About Valerie Kmak, CNP
With over 30 years of experience caring for women across every stage of life, Valerie is a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Obesity Medicine Provider dedicated to helping women feel their best-inside and out. After earning both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in nursing from Wayne State University, she has spent her career serving the women of Detroit, providing compassionate, comprehensive care that spans from adolescence through menopause.
In her practice, Valerie blends expertise with empathy, offering support in gynecology, obstetrics and weight management. Her goal is to empower each patient with the knowledge and care they need to thrive.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can find Valerie exploring new destinations, practicing yoga, playing tennis, reading or enjoying time with friends and family.
