About Richard Duff, M.D. F.A.C.O.G.

I have had the privilege of caring for women and families in the Rochester community since completing my residency training, and I am grateful to say that I enjoy practicing medicine today even more than when I first chose to become a physician. Obstetrics and Gynecology has provided a lifetime of learning, combining the science of medicine with the joy and responsibility of caring for women through every stage of life.

In response to the growing importance of preventive health and wellness, I expanded my OB/GYN practice to include Obesity Medicine and am now board-certified in both specialties. I have developed a successful medical weight-management program that complements my ongoing practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology, enabling me to help patients improve their overall health and well-being.

I am proud to practice as part of the Corewell Health Beaumont Troy system, where we provide comprehensive state-of-the-art care for women and growing families. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care, and we warmly welcome new patients.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling with my lovely wife, Mary, reading, playing backgammon, and spending time at the piano. It is truly a privilege to care for my patients, and I feel blessed to continue doing work that I find deeply meaningful and rewarding.
